About INSight

The INSight Healthcare Information System is a fully integrated medical management software package designed for any size practice - from the large multi-provider practice to the single-doctor office.  It expands upon existing business logic that has been put to the test for years.  INSight is a software solution that offers the reliability that only a field-tested product can, while providing the productivity of a rich graphical user environment.

INSight has been developed in the Java environment embraced by Sun, IBM, and Microsoft in order to maximize product usability and maintainability.  It utilizes core technologies such as ODBC and XML to deliver the right information in the right format to the right person at the right time.  With everything from Internet integration for patient information retrieval to drag-and-drop scheduling changes, INSight is by far a superb product.

Following the standards of all windows environments, many keyboard shortcuts facilitate speedy navigation throughout the product and menu drop-downs cover everything from file maintenance and search screens to image enhancement and import routines.

The global search screen allows the user to find a patient using a number of different pieces of information including social security number, insurance certificate number, Name, and Guarantor.  The type-ahead feature found throughout the product narrows search results quickly.

Images of any type can be attached to a patient including facial shots, insurance cards, or a driver’s license.

INSight provides multi-level security encompassing user sign-on security all the way down to data field level pass wording.  A user can be set up with view-only privileges, view/edit privileges, or none at all.  Security logic can be applied to fields, panels, forms, or entire modules.  Processes and actions can be password protected as well.  Everything is fully customizable to the client’s preferences.

The INSight Healthcare Information System offers two major modules that can be fully integrated or installed as stand-alone products.  The INSight Practice Manager Module provides patient information, entry of charges, payments, and a rich scheduling component for booking and tracking appointments.  The Records Manager Module is an electronic medical records system that stores, formats, and manages all of your records from lab tests to superbills.
