Follow the directions below to back up the preferences and settings for your PC. If you make any changes to your PC's preferences and settings, backing up is a convenient way to maintain a copy of this information. You can use the backup disk to restore your PC information or to set up a new PC. Preferences and settings include window colors defined by your System Parameters, function keys, the backdrop and other variables assigned to your PC.
Note: If you make changes to your PC preferences and settings, NDS recommends backing up to disk as described below.
Directions:
To back up preferences and settings...
1. Insert a disk in your PC floppy drive.
2. At your desktop right-click the START button to see a shortcut menu.
3. Click Explore.
4. On the PC local drive (usually C:), navigate to the directory called NDS.
5. Copy the directory NDS to your floppy drive.
6. Label this floppy disk and retain it in a safe place!
Note: You can use this disk to restore your PC settings and preferences if you ever need to.
