Field Description - Account Status

The Account Status is an option that determines if the account is currently active.  You cannot enter or post transactions for inactive accounts.

Options:

• A - Active

• I - Inactive

Tip:  You can delete all inactive accounts at once during the year-end Post Adjusting Entries routine.

Where-Maintained:  Account Master Maintenance

Format:  predefined
