Printing Screens
There are several software applications available to capture and print a screen image. Using Microsoft® Windows®, you must first capture the screen, then paste it into an application with a print feature.
1. Display the screen (or window) you want to print.
2. Press the [Print
Scrn/SysRq] key on your keyboard, which copies an image of the
screen to the Windows clipboard.
Tip: The [Print Scrn/SysRq]
key is located next to the [Scroll Lock]
key in the top row of most keyboards.
3. Copy the contents of the clipboard
into a word processor program using the Paste
function. You can use programs such as Microsoft® Word®
or WordPad.
Tip: To start WordPad on most Windows-based computers:
Click the [Start] button on the Taskbar.
Click Accessories.
Click WordPad.
4. Print the document.
Tip: In Word or WordPad, click Print
from the File menu.
