Crystal Reports
The Executive Console and the User Console give you the ability to open Crystal Reports in two different ways:
Blank Data Base: From the Executive Console, you can open Crystal Reports into a new blank data base.
Favorite Data Base: From
either the Executive Console or the User Console, you can open Crystal
Reports into a favorite report.
Tip: Depending
on the Console Item Type,
the report may open into Crystal Reports, where you can maintain it, or
into the console's Content
View Panel for viewing only.
Note: To open Crystal Reports from a console, you must own a valid license for the product and activate it at the User Tab within System Parameters.
Directions:
To open Crystal Reports, use one of the following methods:
To open a blank report project from the Executive Console:
Click
Crystal Reports from
the Toolbar.
Or,
click Console from the Menu Bar, and then click Crystal
Reports.
Keyboard shortcut: [ALT]
[c] [c]
To open
a favorite Crystal Reports project from the Executive Console or the User
Console:
Double-click the Console Item Name
for the data base in the Console
Items Panel.
Tip: Depending
on the Console Item Type,
the report may open into Crystal Reports, where you can maintain it, or
into the console Content
