Recalculate Open Transactions

Use the Recalculate Open Transactions routine to recalculate usage and rates after billing transactions have been added to the open transactions file.  This is a very simple approach and does not handle items as trade discounts and compound trailer records.  Transactions with Calculation Types of FLAT and ENTER are not recalculated.

• Opening the Recalculate Open Transactions, click More.

   

  Note:  When you select to move billing transactions to the Open Transactions file during the Move Open Transactions routine, you automatically proceed to Recalculate Open Transactions.

   

• Choosing the selections at the prompt window, click More.

  Recalculate Open Transactions Prompt Options Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Move Type Menu	Entry Options: Update from the Live into the Open file Update from the Open into the Live file
  Options Menu	Entry Options: Move a company by book Move an individual customer
  Account Number	Enter the account number for the account with transactions to be moved (1-12 characters). Note:  This field is activated if Move an individual customer was selected from the options menu.
  Company Number	Note:  This field is activated if Move a company by book was selected from the options menu. Leave blank to include all companies in this move.  Or, enter a specific company number to move transactions for (2.0).
  Book Number	Note:  This field is activated if Move a company by book was selected from the options menu. Leave blank to include all books in this move.  Or, enter a specific book number to move (4.0).
  	To begin, click Proceed. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape from this routine without beginning, click Close .
