Field Description - Service Code

The Service Code is the key field that identifies information for a service your company delivers to customers.  You can have one or more Service Codes set up depending on the number of services you offer.  You must assign a Service Code to each service you bill.  

Example Service Codes:

• 01 - water

• 02 - sewer

• 03 - electricity

• 04 - trash collection

Notes:  

• Because you can tailor the labels of the Service Codes, the field names in your software may not match the Service Code names listed in the documentation.

• Service Codes are user-defined prior to installation.

Format:  2.0 numeric.  Required.
