Menu Bar

Invision, like many Windows™ applications, has a Menu Bar with menus containing commands for the programs and functions in the software module.  The Menu Bar provides an easy way to select tasks to be performed.  Groups of similar commands are organized and listed under specific menu names.

The following table contains a list of menus for the software module.

Menus on the Menu Bar

File

Contains commands used to manage Invision files and settings.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f]

View

Contains file view options.  Click the file or program name to view that particular window.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [v]

Daily Work

Contains the sub-menus and commands used to enter cash receipts, print the journals, and post the transactions.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [a]

Inquiries

Contains the commands for inquiry programs.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [i]

File Maintenance

Contains the commands for maintaining relatively static options such as printer assignments and receipt messages.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f]

History

Contains the commands for viewing, printing, and purging the history file.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [h]

Other Work

Contains commands used only under special circumstances.

Windows

Contains the commands used to manage your desktop display within Invision and the Processes menu for monitoring special functions.

Contains the commands used to send email and to get help with using Invision, including this Web Help manual.
