Field Description - Account Number

The Account Number is general ledger or appropriations account number to expense for a purchase of service or products.  The account number is maintained during Invoice Entry and Purchase Order Entry.

Tip:  Appropriations Account Numbers are typically used by municipalities  in place of General Ledger Account Numbers.

Where-Maintained:  Appropriation Master Maintenance and General Ledger

Where-Used:  Invoice Entry and Purchase Order Entry
