Backing Up Preferences and Settings
Follow the directions below to back up the preferences and settings for your PC. If you make many changes to your PC's preferences and settings, backing up is a convenient way to maintain a copy of this information. You can use the back up disk to restore your PC information or to set up a new PC. Preferences and Settings include window colors, function keys, backdrop and other variables assigned to this PC.
Note: If you make changes to your PC preferences and settings, NDS recommends backing up to disk as described below.
Directions:
To back up preferences and settings...
Insert a disk in your PC floppy drive.
At your desktop right-click the START button to see a shortcut menu.
Click Explore.
On the PC local drive (usually C:), navigate to the directory called NDS.
Copy the directory NDS to your floppy drive.
Label
this floppy disk and retain it in a safe place!
Note: You
can use this disk to restore your PC settings and preferences if you ever
need to.
