Search Code Key
Use Search Code Key to determine the method used to build each license holder's search code. The Search Code Key controls the number of letters from the license holder's last name, first name and middle initial to include when creating their search code. The license holder's search code allows you to search alphabetically for license holders. Searching is helpful if you do not know the licensee's Holder ID.
Ways to create the Search Code Key:
Use the first 6 letters of the last name, followed by the first 4 letters of the first name and no middle initial
Or, use the first 5 letters of the last name, first 4 letters of the first name followed by the middle initial

Opening Search Code Key, click more.
From the Menu Bar click File Maintenance, and next click Search Code Key.
Or, use the keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [m] [r]

NOTES:
The total number of search characters can not exceed 10.
There is only one Search Code Key record allowed.
