Printing Screens
There are several software applications available to capture and print a screen image. Using Microsoft® Windows®, you must first capture the screen, then paste it into an application with a print feature.
Display the screen (or window) you want to print.
Press
the [Print Scrn/SysRq] key on
your keyboard, which copies an image of the screen to the Windows clipboard.
Tip: The
[Print Scrn/SysRq] key is located
next to the [Scroll Lock] key
in the top row of most keyboards.
Copy
the contents of the clipboard into a word processor program using the
Paste function. You
can use programs such as Microsoft®
Word®
or WordPad.
Tip: To
start WordPad on most Windows-based computers:
Click the [Start] button on the Taskbar.
Click Accessories.
Click WordPad.
Print
the document.
Tip: In
Word or WordPad, click Print from
the File menu.
