Table - ABATE

The ABATE (Abatement Message) table controls if the Abatement Approved message prints on the Real Estate Tax Bills for Tax Accounts having one or more tax detail transactions with the 03 Abatement Tax Type Code.

Notes:

The Abatement Approved message does not print on Real Estate Tax Bills for the first billing, because the first billing data comes from the Assessing module.
Abatements do not apply to Personal Property Tax Bills.
You can also maintain this table in the Assessing and Cash Receipts modules.

Enter one of the following codes:

YES - Prints the Abatement Approved message on Real Estate Tax Bills for the second, third, or fourth billing, as applicable.
NO - omits the Abatement Approved message from the Real Estate Tax Bills.

Note: If the ABATE table does not exist, the Real Estate Tax Bills program defaults to NO and omits the message.
