The Insurance Verify Insurance field determines if the Insurance Code must be assigned to the patient record prior to allowing patient charges to be entered for the insurance.
Tips:
If you wish to verify the Insurance Code prior to entering patient charges, set this field to Y(es).
If you do not wish to verify that an insurance is assigned to a patient prior entering patient charges, set this field to N(o).
For Insurance Code P (private insurance), usually this field is set to N(o).
