The Appointment Type Duration is the default length of time scheduled for the type of appointment. The Appointment Type Duration determines the time slot required when scheduling the type of appointment. It is used during Scheduling and during the Referral Authorization Window. While this is the default number of minutes required for a type of appointment it can be edited when creating an appointment during Scheduling.
