Sign On

Sign on is an optional INSight feature managing module-level security that allows users to log into the module.  After system security is implemented each user must sign on in order to have access to programs and routines within the module.  For more information about sign on contact your system administrator.

Tip:  When you exit the application the software will automatically sign off for you.

Directions:

1. To open Sign On, click File from the Menu Bar and next click Sign On.
   Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [o]

2. To see directions for Sign On prompts, click More.

   Sign On Entries
   Operator Number	Enter your pre-defined operator number (3.0).
   Password	Enter the password that corresponds to the operator number entered. Note:  The field does not echo your entry.
   	To verify the operator number and its respective password, click Sign In. Note:  If you enter an incorrect operator number or password, the following error message displays on the Status Bar:
   	To exit without signing on click Cancel or press [ESC]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c]

    

3. Once you have signed on using valid information, the Sign On window closes and you now can access authorized menus and programs protected by the security system.
