Collection Report Instructions

Use the Collection Report Instructions to print a detailed summary of each account that meets the delinquency criteria your practice chooses (such as, delinquent accounts). By selecting from a variety of criteria, accounts requiring collection work may be readily identified and sorted by highest balance first.  A clear detailed summary of each patient permits complete follow-up work with minimal effort.  Generally, you will run this report when you want to send patient accounts to collections.  You can use the report information to decide what collection efforts to make.  Because of the flexible criteria your practice determines which patients are delinquent.  For example, your practice can specify anyone over 90 days who owes at least $50.00 and who hasn't made a payment in over two months.  The report provides all the information a collection agency needs including employer information, phone numbers, remarks, past payment history and insurance information in an easy to understand format.  In addition, you have the option to print one account per page, which allows the doctor to make two piles, one of accounts to send to collection and one for accounts to not send to collection.
