Account Balance Letters Workfile Maintenance

Use Account Balance Letters Workfile Maintenance to remove patient accounts from the Account Balance Workfile if you do not want them to receive a letter.

• Opening Account Balance Letters Workfile Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Reports from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Patient Letters.

  3.  Click Account Balance Letters.

  4.  Click Workfile Maintenance.

   

  Account Balance Letters Workfile Maintenance Window Example:

  

   

• Creating a New Account Balance Letter, click More.

   

  Note:  You can not create any new patient account balance letters workfile records.  The necessary records are created during the Account Balance Letters Create Workfile routine.

   

• Editing an Existing Account Balance Letter, click More.

   

  Note:  To maintain data integrity, you can not edit any patient account balance letters workfile records.  You can only delete the workfile records.

   

• Deleting an Existing Account Balance Letter, click More.

   

  1.  To display the record to be deleted, enter the Workfile ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  Tip:  If you do not know the Workfile ID, you can click Search  to see a list of account balance letters workfile records.

  2.  Click File from the Menu Bar, and next click Delete.
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [d]

  3.  At the Delete Records prompt, click Proceed to delete the record, or click Cancel to escape from the delete routine.
