Application Parameters

Use Application Parameters (also referred to as YourProgramTitleHere) to customize certain features within the module.

Tip:  For more information about working with data in fields, see the Data Entry Guidelines.

Directions:

To see directions for...

• Opening Application Parameters Maintenance, click More.

   

  • Basic Method:

  1. Click File from the Menu Bar.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Click Client Options.

  4. Click Application.
      

  • Advanced Method:

  Use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [e] [o] [a].

   

   

• Editing the parameters, click More.

   

  Reports Tab Prompts Note:  Reports having a format of 80 columns or less are not affected by this parameter.
  Page Width	To control the report print area based on the paper size, click the appropriate choice: 80 columns - changes the print job to fit an 80-column printer. 132 columns - changes the print job to fit a 132-column printer.
  YourTab Prompts
  YourField	EnterYourFieldInstructions.
  Buttons
  	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]
  	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
  	To escape from the program, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + c]
  	To close this window click Close or press [ESC].
