Field Description - Deduction Method Code

The Deduction Method Code contains one of the following codes to identify how a Deduction Amount is processed:

• 1 - Flat: a flat dollar amount.

• 2 - % Reg Pay:  a percent calculated against regular pay.

• 3 - % Reg + OT Pay:  a percent calculated against the sum of regular and overtime pay.

• 4 - % Gross Pay:  a percent calculated against the gross pay.

• 5 - Amt x Reg Hrs:  a multiplier calculated against the regular hours.

• 6 - Amt x (Reg + OT Hrs):  a multiplier calculated against the sum of the regular and overtime hours.
