Field Description - Employee Date of Hire

The Employee Date of Hire (also referred to as the Hire Date) is the date that the employee began employment.

Format: Date (MM/DD/YYYY). Slashes are optional.

Date Shortcuts
D, W, M, or Y	Enters today's date.
xD	Adds x days to today.
xW	Adds x weeks to today.
xM	Adds x months to today.
xY	Adds x years to today.
Example: To enter a date five years in the future, type 5Y.
