Field Description - Vacation Time Accrual Amount Per Period

The Vacation Time Accrual Amount Per Period is the amount of vacation time expressed in hours that accrues for the employee during each pay period.  To determine the employee accrual factor or the amount of time per period, take the total number of hours annually and divide by the number of pay periods in a year.  For example, if an employee receives 100 hours a year and there are 26 pay periods in the year, then divide 100 by 26 to arrive at the vacation accrual factor.
