The Policy Holder Termination Date is the date the insurance policy is terminated or the coverage under the insurance policy ends.
Notes:
Some insurance carriers provide Termination Dates, while other insurance carriers do not.
You can view and maintain the Policy Holder Termination Date during Patient Entry at the Insurance Window.
During Charge Entry, patient charges can not be entered if the service date is beyond the Policy Holder's Effective Date and Termination Date. If the service date is outside the range of the Effective and Termination Dates, the following message alerts you on the Status Bar:
