Field Description - Operator Password
The Operator Password is a secret combination of characters chosen by the user or the system administrator and is used to authenticate the operator when they attempt to sign on to the module when security is active. Passwords are used to prevent unauthorized access to programs and functions and thus ensure data security.
Note: The Operator password is a separate password from the Program Record password and has a separate function. You should maintain a unique password for each type of password.
Password Guidelines:
Use Good Passwords - Don't use persons, places or things that can be easily identified or that easily identify you.
Don't Disclose Your Password - to anyone.
Change Your Password Frequently - to minimize the risk of someone learning or acquiring it.
Never Leave An Active Terminal Unattended - Always log off or lock your terminal before leaving it.
