Charge Journal Sample

The Charge Journal lists the charges entered during the day.  Use the journal to verify the entries and to provide an audit trail of the work done.  Provider and department totals are readily available and can be used to evaluate individual productivity.

  PROVIDER	Provider code for the provider who performs the patient service
  TICKET#	Ticket number assigned to the service
  ACCOUNT#	Patient account number
  INSURED NAME	Patient's last name, first name and middle initial
  SERVICE DATE	Date the service was performed
  LOCATION	Location where the service was performed
  DEPT	Department where the service was performed
  AA	Accept assignment flag for the service
  INSBILLED	Abbreviation that identifies the insurance billed for the service
