Employer/Lawyer Maintenance
Use Employer/Lawyer Maintenance to maintain general information about employers and lawyers that is common to your patients. Assign an abbreviated Employer/Lawyer ID to each employer or lawyer you want to set up. This ID is used in Patient Entry and is handy if many patients work for the same employer. You may need to enter employer information for patient accounts involving workers' compensation and you may need to enter lawyer information for patient accounts when their guarantor is an estate.
