New Command

Use the New command to create a new item (record) in a file.  For example, if you want to create a new inventory item in Inventory use New.

Directions:

To create a new record:

• Enter the new item ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]

Tip:  To indicate you are building a new item, for example a new item, New   displays near the Item ID.  Default entries display and the first field is highlighted to let you know you can begin entering information.
