WebHelp Navigation Pane - Index

The WebHelp Index tab displays a multi-level list of keywords and keyword phrases.  Like an index in a book, these terms are associated with topics related to the keyword.  In Help, the keywords automatically direct you to specific areas of interest.

Directions:

1.  To open the index, click the Index tab located in the Navigation Pane.


 

2.  Use one of the following methods to open a topic related to a keyword in the index.

1. Use the scroll bar to move up or down within the keyword list.  Click a keyword, and then the associated topic displays in the Viewing Pane.

2. Or, enter a full or partial keyword, and then the index automatically highlights the keyword that is closest to your entry.  Press [ENTER] to display the topic associated with the highlighted keyword.
