GL Categories Listing Sample

The GL Category Listing reports the GL categories and their associated GL accounts that are updated by Inventory routines.  

Tips:

• This report is only applicable if GL integration is active.

  GL Category Listing Fields Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Description	GL Category description
  ID	ID assigned to the GL category
  Sales Account	GL account to be credited when an item in this GL category is sold
  Inventory Account	GL Account number to be debited (increased) when inventory is received and credited (decreased) when inventory from this GL Category is sold or committed to a job
  COGS Account (Non-job)	GL Account to be debited as cost of goods sold for non-job related sales
  COGS Account (Job)	GL Account number for job related Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
  J/C Markup Account	Note:  This field is reserved for future use.
  Overage/shrinkage Account	Note:  This field is reserved for future use.
