Transaction Post Log

Use the Transaction Post Log to view detailed information regarding past Transaction Posts.  Each post event message displays with a timestamp and a color-coded type.  Error messages display as red and warnings as yellow.  The Post start displays as green, the Post end as blue and general messages are black.  You must choose a date range to view or the routine will default to today's date.  Posting entries will display from most recent to oldest.  You can also sort the log entries by a specific column of information, by clicking the column heading.

Notes:

• If Serial Items are present during a Transaction Post and serial transaction processing is not active, the Post log will note a warning and indicate the transactions which have not received serial transaction processing.

• The Transaction Post log lists orphaned serial transactions for your review, but the Transaction Post does not remove the orphaned records.

• Post details are maintained in a logging table called tbl_inventory_transaction_post_log.

• Choosing the Selections at the Prompt Window, click More.

   

  Transaction Post Log Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Date	To choose the date range for viewing the log, use the two Date Picker controls. Note:  Dates are required for the viewing the transaction post log.  If you do not select a date range, the Date picker defaults to today's date.
  	To view transaction post logs, click Search.
