Manufacturer Maintenance

Use Manufacturer Maintenance to maintain information about the manufacturers of assets owned by your utility.  You can include the names of contact persons as well as their contact phone numbers and email addresses.  

 

Directions:

To open:

1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu.

2.  Click File Maintenance.

3.  Click Code Maintenance.

4.  Click Asset Maintenance Menu.

5.  Click Manufacturer Maintenance.

:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [y] [m] [c] [a] [m].

Manufacturer

To create a manufacturer:

Click New . and enter the following fields.

Or, to find a manufacturer that is already created, click Search .  From the search list, double-click a manufacturer to display its details.

Company Name

Enter the company name.

Short Label

Enter a short description of the manufacturer, if applicable.

Company Website

Enter the URL for the company website, if applicable.

Address 1- 3

Enter up to 3 lines of address for the manufacturer.  Only use as many lines as you need.

City, State, Zip Code

Enter the city, state and Zip Code for the mailing address for the manufacturer.  

Notes

Enter any notes about the manufacturer.

Note:  You can enter up to 3 contacts along with their phone number, email address and website address.  

Contact Name 1 - 3

Enter the name of the contact person for the manufacturer.

Contact Phone 1 - 3

Enter the phone number for the contact person.

Contact Email 1 - 3

Enter the email address for the contact person.

Contact Website 1 - 3

Enter the website address for the contact person, if applicable.

To complete your work, click Save .

 CAUTION:  To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

Or, to escape without saving your entries, click Close .
