Past Due Workfile Maintenance

Use Past Due Workfile Maintenance to remove individual past due customers from the Past Due Workfile that was generated during the Create Workfile routine.  For example, you can use this routine to remove a customer from the Workfile if the customer is on a payment plan and should not receive a past due notice.

Notes:  

• You can not create or edit Past Due Notices during Past Due Workfile Maintenance.

• If you delete customers during Past Due Workfile Maintenance, reprint the Past Due Edit Transaction Journal for a complete audit trail.

• Opening Past Due Workfile Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Processes from the Menu.

  2.  Click Past Due.

  3.  Click Workfile Maintenance.

  Past Due Workfile Maintenance Window Example:

  

• Creating a customer Past Due, click More.

   

  IMPORTANT: You can not create a new customer past due during Past Due Workfile Maintenance.

   

• Editing a customer Past Due Notice, click More.

   

  IMPORTANT:  You can not edit a customer past due during Past Due Workfile Maintenance.

   

• Deleting an existing customer Past Due Notice, click More.

   

  1.  Enter the Customer ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  Tip:  If you do not know the Customer ID, you can click Search  to see a list of customers.

  2.  Click File from the Menu Bar, and next click Delete.
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [d]

  3.  At the Delete Records prompt, click Proceed to delete the record, or click Cancel to escape from the delete routine.
