Tax Receipt Messages Maintenance
Use Tax Receipt Messages Maintenance to create a standard header message or a footer message (or both), which prints on the register tape version of a Tax Receipt generated during Tax Receipt Entry.
Note: The Tax Receipt message lines print only if the setting for the Tax System Company Control Option for Cash Receipts Form Type is set to 2 - Custom.

Opening Tax Receipt Messages Maintenance, click More.
Click File Maintenance from the Menu Bar, and next click Tax Receipt Messages.
Or, use the keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [m] [t].
Viewing or Editing the Tax Receipt message lines, click More.
CAUTION: To avoid losing data, you must save changed message lines.
To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.
Enter the data changes.
To
complete the edit process, click Save or press [ENTER]
if the button is in focus.

Enter the text that should appear in the header area of the Tax Receipt register tape. (up to 40 characters) |

To update the changed information click Save or press [ENTER] if the button is in focus. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] | |
CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save the updated text for the Tax Receipt message lines. | |
To exit the program, click Cancel or press [ENTER] if the button is in focus. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + c] |
Deleting the Tax Receipt message lines, click More.
CAUTION: To apply the deletions, you must save deleted message lines.
To position the pointer to the line that you want to delete, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.
Select the text to be deleted so it is highlighted.
Press [Delete] (on the keyboard).
To
complete the delete process, click Save or press
[ENTER] if the button is in focus.
