Single Period Activity Report Instructions
Use the Single Period Activity Report to print the journal entries for a specific Period. You can optionally select a range of Account Numbers and limit the report to a specific Journal Code.

Tips:
This report is also known as the Activity Report.
This report is available in the following formats:
80-Column Format: Set during System Parameters at the Print tab.
132-Column Format: Set during System Parameters at the Print tab.
Enhanced View: Set during Print View at the View menu.
This report is similar to the YTD Activity Report. However, the YTD Activity Report allows you to select a range of Periods and a range of Funds.

Opening the Single Period Activity Report, click More.
Basic Method (from the G/L Module):
Click Reporting from the Menu Bar.
Click
Single Period Activity Report.

Advanced Methods (from the G/L Module):
Click Single Period Activity Report on the Toolbar.
Or,
click the following sequence:
View from the Menu Bar; and then Single
Period Activity Report.

Click General Ledger from the Menu Bar.
Click Reporting.

activate the General
Ledger menu in another module, the G/L
Application Control must be set up for the module during installation.

To specify the Period for the journal entry transactions that you want to include in the report, click the Period in the drop-down list. (predefined) Required | |
Enter the first line of text that you want to appear at the top of the report. Tip: The report automatically centers the text for you. | |
Enter the second line of text that you want to appear at the top of the report. (up to 30 characters) Tip: The report automatically centers the text for you. | |
Enter the third line of text that you want to appear at the top of the report. Tip: The report automatically centers the text for you. | |
Enter the fourth line of text that you want to appear at the top of the report. Tip: The report automatically centers the text for you. | |
To limit the report to a range of Account Elements, click Element Range. Note: You will see the Element Range Prompt, which is described below. | |

To limit the report to a range of Account Numbers, enter the from and to Account Numbers (inclusive). (format varies) Tip: To select all accounts, leave blank. |
To limit the report to a specific Journal Code, enter a valid Journal Code. (up to two characters, predefined) Tip: To select all Journal Codes, leave blank. | |

To print an extra space between journal entries, select this box. |

To print each entry on two lines, select this box. |
To begin printing to the Windows® default printer, click Print, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + p] | |

Element Range Prompt Tip: This prompt displays a list of the Elements defined for the Account Number. The list of elements varies according to the settings for each facility. You can select accounts to print on the report by entering ranges of Elements. | |
