Plate Inventory Cycle

Use the Plate Inventory Cycle routine to generate the plate inventory reports for the cycle.  The plate inventory reports are required by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) and will later be uploaded to the BMV portal.

Notes:

• Confirm that the cycle dates are the correct dates for the cycle you are processing.  Make sure that the message Cycle Processing is active displays as well.

• Do not confuse the Plate Inventory Report that is generated during this routine with the Inventory Adjustments Report and Inventory Report that are run from CURL.  They are all separate reports and have separate functions.

• The Plate Inventory Cycle is generally the fourth step in the Cycle process.  For more information on the timing and sequence of cycle tasks, see Cycle Processing Procedure.

• The report is also known as the Plate Inventory Report.

• Opening the Plate Inventory Cycle Routine, click More.

   

  1.  Click Period End Work from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Plate Inventory Cycle.

• Choosing the Selections at the Prompt Window, click More.

   

  Plate Inventory Cycle Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  	Important:   Verify that the displayed Cycle Start and Cycle End dates are correct before proceeding.   Make sure that the message Cycle Processing is active displays as well.
  	To run the routine and generate the report, click Proceed, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape from the routine: Click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c] Or, click Close .
  	After clicking proceed, a printer dialog window displays:
  	To begin printing to the Windows® default printer, click Print. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
