The TB-GL (Tax Billing General Ledger) table contains the Taxes Receivable and Taxes Committed General Ledger Account Numbers used by the Post Tax Bills program.

TB-GL Table Field Descriptions

Enter the following abbreviated descriptions:

  • Row 1 - Taxes Receivable
    Example
    :  Taxes Rec

  • Row 2 - Taxes Committed
    Example
    :  Taxes Comm.

Enter the General Ledger Account Numbers corresponding with the descriptions in Column 1.

  • Row 1 - Taxes Receivable
    Example
    :  9003
    Note
    :  The General Ledger Account Number in this row usually matches the Taxes Receivable General Ledger Account Number in Row 1 of the GL# table.

  • Row 2 - Taxes Committed
    Example
    :  5003
    Note
    :  The Taxes Committed General Ledger Account Number usually matches the GL-Credit Account Number for the 01 Tax Charge in the TXCHARGE table.

Format:  up to four characters.  Although most Tax Billing tables containing General Ledger Account Numbers require that the last two digits represent the tax year, it is not required in this case.
