Table - TXOPTION

The TXOPTION (Tax Option) table controls whether to print the full tax amount due or the net tax due (less prepayments) on the Personal Property and Real Estate Tax Bills.

IMPORTANT:

This option applies only to the first billing and if the Balance for Current Year contains a prepayment, which means the value is negative.

Notes:

See the TXPRINT table to control the current amount due on the second, third and fourth billings.
If the TXOPTION table does not exist, the tax bills program defaults to YES and prints the net amount.
You can also maintain this table in the Assessing and Cash Receipts modules.

Description

Enter one of the following codes:

NO - Prints the full Tax Amount Due on the tax bills.
YES - Prints the net Tax Amount Due on the tax bills. Prepayments are subtracted from the full Tax Amount Due.

Note: If the TXOPTION table does not exist, the tax bills program defaults to YES and prints the net amount.
