Bank Report Instructions
Use the Bank report to print an Open Item Report for specific Tax Accounts requested by a bank. You can create a Bank Code and link it to specific Tax Account Numbers. Then you can tailor the report to specific Bank Codes. You can also limit the report to a range of Due Dates.
Notes:
This report is also known as the Open Item Tax Detail Report.

Reporting
from the Menu
Bar, and next click Bank
Report.
Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [p] [b]
At the prompt window, enter the Bank Code and printing selections.
To learn about maintaining Bank Code lists, click More.
The Bank Code provides a convenient means for you to maintain different lists of Tax Account Numbers for different banks. You must link one or more Tax Account Numbers to a specific Bank Code using the maintenance techniques described in the table below.
Note: The Bank Code field relates only to this report.

To enter the report options, click More.

Enter a new or existing code to maintain or print a list of accounts. (1-3 characters) | |
Enter the Tax Account Number that you want to add to the Bank Code list. (1-6 characters) | |

To see all accounts in the Bank Code List, click View. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + v] |
Bank Code List |
Displays a list of Tax Account Numbers and the associated Bank Codes. |

Click Add to add a Tax Account Number to the Bank Code list. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + a] |

To remove a Tax Account Number from the Bank Code list:

To delete all existing accounts and Bank Codes in the Bank Code list, click Delete All. |
Due Date Range |
To limit the report to transactions within a specific range of Due Dates, enter the four digit code in the From and To fields. (4.0) Note: To include transactions for all Due Dates, leave the From and To fields blank. |

Click one of the following options:

Printer |
Displays the default printer number. For more information, see Printing Options. |

To generate the report, click Print. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + p] |

To escape from the print routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + c] |
To see the report sample, click More.

For transactions with a payment Tax Type Code, prints the Receipt Date. For all other types of transactions, prints the Post Date. |

Total Balance Due Note: Tax Type Codes determine how (or if) the transaction amount affects the subtotal and the balance. | |
Acct No |
Tax Account Number appears next to the balance for readability. |
