Field Description - Patient Credit Message First Contact Date

The Patient Credit Message First Contact Date is the date the patient was first contacted by Patient Letter Writer correspondence or by phone.  

Notes:  

• To automatically update the patient's First Contact Date, you must print a letter created in Patient Letter Writer that is assigned a C for Credit Message.

• You can manually enter a First Contact Date if you first contact the patient by phone.

• Once a First Contact Date is entered, the field becomes display-only and can not be edited.

• You can view the First Contact Date during Patient Entry at the Credit Message Window.

Format:  Date (mmddccyy - slashes and century optional)
