Diagnosis Analysis Report Instructions

Use the Diagnosis Analysis Report Instructions to report the number of services performed for each diagnosis.  This report helps your practice monitor the increases and decreases of diagnoses.  The information on the report can help establish monthly, yearly and seasonal trends.  Generally, you will run the Diagnosis Analysis Report at month-end.

• Opening the Diagnosis Analysis Report Instructions, click More.

   

  1.  Click Reports from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Analysis Reports.

  3.  Click Diagnosis Analysis.

• Choosing the Selections at the Prompt Window, click More.

   

  Diagnosis Analysis Report Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Diagnosis	Enter the diagnoses to report. (up to 4 characters) Tips: To enter an individual diagnosis, simply enter the diagnosis code and press [TAB]. To enter a group of diagnoses, enter the first diagnosis code, followed by a comma (,) and the next diagnosis code.  Continue in this fashion until the list of diagnosis codes is complete. To enter a range, enter the beginning diagnosis code followed by a dash (-) and the ending diagnosis. Or, to search for the appropriate diagnosis code, click Search . Keyboard shortcut:  [CTRL + f].
  Statistics	To include both month-to-date and year-to-date information on the report, click Both MTD & YTD. To include only month-to-date information, click Month-to-date. To include only year-to-date information, click Year-to-date.
  Page On Diagnosis	To print each diagnosis on a separate page, click Yes. To print all diagnoses continuously on the same page, click No.
  Include Zero Totals	To include diagnoses with zero totals, click Yes. To omit reporting diagnoses with zero totals, click No.
  Number of Copies	Enter the Number of Copies for the printed report. (1-99)
  Sort By:	To specify the sort criteria for the report, click a choice. Sort Options: Diagnosis Code Diagnosis Description Alternate Description Cases MTD Cases YTD
  	Displays the default printer number.  For more information, see Printing Options.
  	To begin printing to the Windows® default printer, click Print or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape from the print routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c]
