Location Analysis Report Instructions

Use the Location Analysis Report Instructions to determine profitability of each location on a monthly or yearly basis.  This report compares profitability of the various locations if your providers see patients at multiple offices or hospitals.  This report lists the dollar amount the locations within your practice are earning, collecting and writing off for the services provided to your patients by printing month-to-date charges, payments and adjustments which can be compared with the same year-to-date figures provided.  In addition, the report lists the last year end A/R amount (the outstanding dollar amount at the end of last year, not the same month last year) and a comparison to the current A/R.  Generally, you will run the Location Analysis Report at month-end.

• Opening the Location Analysis Report Instructions, click More.

   

  1.  Click Reports from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Analysis Reports.

  3.  Click Location Analysis.

• Choosing the Selections at the Prompt Window, click More.

   

  Location Analysis Report Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Locations	Enter the Locations to report. (up to 4 characters) Tips: To enter an individual Location, simply enter the Location code and press [TAB]. To enter a location of locations, enter the first location code, followed by a comma (,) and the next location code.  Continue in this fashion until the list of location codes is complete. To enter a range, enter the beginning location code followed by a dash (-) and the ending location. Or, to search for the appropriate location code, click Search . Keyboard shortcut:  [CTRL + f].
  Statistics	To include both month-to-date and year-to-date information on the report, click Both MTD & YTD To include only month-to-date information, click Month-to-date. To include only year-to-date information, click Year-to-date.
  Page On Location	To print each location on a separate page, click Yes in the drop-down list. To print all location on the same page, click No in the drop-down list.
  Include Zero Totals	To include locations with zero totals, click Yes in the drop-down list. To omit reporting locations with zero totals, click No in the drop-down list.
  Number of Copies	Enter the Number of Copies for the printed report. (1-99)
  Sort By:	To specify the sort criteria for the report, click a choice. Sort By: Location Number Cases MTD Charges MTD Payments MTD Adjustments MTD Location Name Cases YTD Charges YTD Payments YTD Adjustments YTD
  	Displays the default printer number.  For more information, see Printing Options.
  	To begin printing to the Windows® default printer, click Print or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape from the print routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c]
