Copy Operator Security Settings

Use the Copy Operator Security Settings routine to copy all the signon authorizations from an existing operator to a new operator.  This allows you to quickly set up multiple operators with the same clearances.  If you need to make individual changes after the operator is copied, you can use Operator Signon Security Settings Maintenance.

• Opening the Copy Operator Security Settings Routine, click More.

   

  1.  Press [ALT + s] from the module main window to launch the Application Supervisor Menu.

  2.  Click Security.

  3.  Click Copy Operator Security Settings.
  
  Tip:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut[ALT + s] [s] [ALT] [s] [s] [ENTER].

• Choosing the Selections at the Prompt Window, click More.

   

  Copy Operator Security Settings Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Operator A	Enter the ID for the operator to be copied. (up to 5 characters) Tip:  The Operator Name displays for your reference.
  Operator B	Enter the Operator ID to be copied to. (up to 5 characters) Tip:  the Operator Name displays for your reference.
  	To run the routine, click Proceed, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + p]
  	To escape from the routine: Click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + c] Or, click Close .
  	To close the Copy Operator Security Settings routine when the routine is complete, click Done or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + d]
  	Important: The following message alerts you when the routine is finished: ** DONE **
  	To close the routine, click Close.
