Field Description - Regular Earnings Totals

The fields for Regular Earnings Totals contain various totals accumulated during the current year for Regular Earnings.

Notes:

• Regular Earnings exclude Other Pay and Overtime Pay.

• The system updates these fields, so you do not normally need to edit them.

• The Regular Earnings totals include shift differential earnings, which are identified by the Other Pay Type (7 - Shift Differential) for an Other Pay Code.

• You can view YTD totals for Regular Earnings during Employee Totals Master Maintenance in the YTD Totals Area.

• You can view MTD totals and totals for each of the four quarters in the current year during Employee Quarterly Totals Maintenance in the Quarterly Totals Area.

• You can view MTD totals for any month within the current year during Employee Monthly Totals Maintenance in the Earnings Totals Area.

• You can view the totals for all five pay periods during Employee Weekly Totals Maintenance in the Weekly Totals Area.

• The Period End Clear process clears these fields when you specify a calendar clear.
