Field Description - Sick Time Amount Taken
The Sick Time Amount Taken is the amount of sick time expressed in hours that the employee has taken during the current accrual year.
Notes:
This field pertains to employees assigned an Other Pay Code with an Other Pay Type of 2 - Sick.
You can view this field during Employee Totals Master Maintenance in the Vacation / Sick Detail Area.
The system updates this field, so you do not normally have to edit it.
The Vacation/Sick Accrual Clear/Roll can clear the appropriate vacation/sick fields for all employees when it is run. Or, you can manually maintain each employee's taken sick time amounts if you base sick accrual time on the anniversary of the employee's hire date or contract date.
