Patient Account Number Area
Use the Patient Account Number Area to load a patient's account information into the INSight Control Menu. Generally, this is the first step in entering patient information, charges, payments and appointments. The table following the window example describes the fields in the Patient Account Number Area.
Tips:
The Patient Account Number Area is also called the Patient Load Area.
The information in the Patient Account Number Area for Scheduling is different from Billing (including Patient Entry and Charge Entry).
Directions:
To load a patient into a window:
Enter
a patient Account Number.

Click
Patient Load , or
press [ENTER].

To work with an existing patient, enter the Patient Account Number. To create a new patient, enter blank or N. (up to 6 characters, blank, N) Required Tips:

To load the patient account information, click Patient Load or press [ENTER]. Note: If the Patient Account Number is blank or N, clicking Patient Load launches the Patient Wizard for entering a new patient. |
If you enter an invalid Patient Account Number during Patient Entry, the following message displays on the Status Bar:

To open the Patient Appointments Window, click Appts. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + a] |
