Electronic Billing Print Journal Sample

The Electronic Billing Print Journal lists the billing claims in the Electronic Billing Setup file for the specified insurance carrier and includes the Scrubber Report if there are claim level errors in the Setup file.  

Notes:

• The e-billing journal Transaction Set number and the grand totals are used to reconcile with the receive reports.

• This report is also known as the Auto Bill Claims Journal.

  Last Setup	Date the last electronic billing setup was run
  Workfile Built for:	Date the Workfile Build/Prelist was run
  Bill Date	Billing date
  Submitter ID	Submitter ID for the electronic billing file
  Batch #	Number assigned to the batch of claims
  EMC Provider ID	Group Number or Group NPI Number
  Group	Electronic billing file Group Number assigned
  Transaction Set	Transaction Set Number
  Clm #	Number of claims the patient has in the electronic billing setup file
  Acct #	Patient account number
  Patient Name	Patient first name, middle name and last name
  DOB	Patient's date of birth
  Guarantor Name	Guarantor's first name and last name
  Certificate #	Patient's policy holder insurance certificate number
  Ticket #	Ticket number assigned to the claims
  Rend. Provider	Rendering Provider ID
  Ref. Provider	Referring Provider ID
  MD	primary care provider
  Svc Dates	Date of patient service
  Units	Number of units associated with the procedure for the charge
  POS	Place of service where the service was performed
  TOS	Type of service associated with the charge
  Diag	Diagnosis Code assigned to the service
  Proc	Procedure for the patient service
  Fee	Fee charged for the procedure
  A/A	Accept assignment setting for the ticket
  Total Claim Charges Line
  Batch # Totals
  # of Claims	Number of claims for batch
  Batch Total Charges	Total charge dollar amount for batch
