Referral Analysis Report Instructions
Use the Referral Analysis Report Instructions to determine the sources that are generating new patients for your practice and the dollar amount being generated. This report provides the tool to decide how to allocate advertising or marketing funds in the future to attract new patients to your practice. This report can provide a count of the number of patients or the total dollar amount of services generated by the referral source. You can report on the referrals for a specific range of dates. You can run the report at any time.
Tips:
The report information comes from two files - the Patient file or the live service date file (GMGUAR and GMSDTE respectively). If you select to report the number of patients referred, the report information is drawn from the GMGUAR file. If you select to report the total service dollars generated, the report information is drawn from the GMSDTE file.
If you free-type a referral repeatedly in Patient Entry or Charge Entry, INSight can track and report the appropriate patient count or dollars generated.
