Executive Console
Use the Executive Console allows you to save and archive electronic copies of a report each time it is run. You can retrieve a report later when you need the information. How the report copies are organized in storage is flexible and can be determined during the setup. Below are some of the benefits of the Executive Console.
View previously run reports quickly and easily
Information on demand and at your fingertips when you need it
Audit trail providing details of who called for the report and when
Electronically stored reports reduces the need for paper and physical storage space
Reports are backed up, keeping data secure
If the report printer stops while printing, you still have an electronic copy
Notes:
To archive reports, you must activate each individual report. To activate the archiving feature, you must set Create Rpt option in Function Maintenance to Yes. Once activated, the reports are automatically archived to the location specified during Function Maintenance.
When a report is archived in the Executive Console, it only saves the data. Any special formatting done while viewing the report during Print View is not saved.
