Transaction History Journal Instructions
Use the Transaction History Journal to view or print historical inventory transactions. The History Journal offers several range and sort options to allow you to view all or specific transactions that have been posted to inventory. The Transaction History Journal offers a two line format and includes proofing totals.

Opening the Transaction History Journal, click More.
1. Click Transactions from the Menu.
2. Click History Inquiry Journal.

To specify a range of Transaction Types to report, click to select the lower/beginning Transaction Type. To specify the ending range, click to select the upper range Type. Note: To include all types on the journal, leave the lower and upper range blank for All. |

To specify a range of Items to report, enter the lower range/beginning Item. To specify the ending range, enter the upper range Item. Notes:

To specify a range of Jobs to report, enter the lower range/beginning Job. To specify the ending range, enter the upper range Job. Note: To include all jobs on the journal, leave the lower and upper range blank for All. |

Work Order |
To specify a range of work orders to report, enter the lower range/beginning work order number. To specify the ending range, enter the ending work order number for the upper range. |
To specify a range of users (that posted transactions) to report, enter the lower range/beginning user. To specify the ending range, enter the user for the upper range. Note: To include all users on the journal, leave the lower and upper range blank for All. |

To specify a range of Transaction Dates to report, enter the lower/beginning Transaction Date. To specify the ending range, enter the upper range Transaction Date. (yyyy-mm-dd) Note: To include all dates on the journal, leave the lower and upper range blank for All. |

To specify the Sort parameters, click Sort . |
Order |
To specify the fields to sort the journal by, enter any positive number into the Order field. A value of 1 means sort by this field first, 2 means sort by this field second and so on. The numbers do not need to be sequential but they must be greater than zero. In the example above, transactions are sorted first by Date, then by item. Notes:

Ascending |
To sort in an ascending manner, click to select the Ascending checkbox. Or, leave the Ascending checkbox blank to sort in descending order. |
Active |
The Active flag must to set to enable the field to be sorted. To set the Active flag, click to check the corresponding checkbox. Note: If Active is unchecked, the field will not be used for sorting even if there is a Order value entered for the field. |
To begin printing to the Windows® default printer, click Print, or press [ENTER]. Or, to run the routine and print to the Print View window, click Print View . Or, to escape from the print routine, click Cancel . |
