New

Use New to create a new item (record) in a file.  For example, if you want to create a new account in the General Ledger use New.

To create a new record choose one of these methods:

Tip:  To indicate you are building a new item, for example a new account, New   displays near the Account Number.  Default entries display and the first field is highlighted to let you know you can begin entering information.
